The additional language presented at Tshwane Christian School is Afrikaans.  Two weeks ago five Gride 6 learners took part in the Afrikaans Poetry Competition, where they were awarded the first five places!  Yesterday our speech choir and the Grade 6 teachers went to Pretoria for their performance.  They won their category and received a diploma with a medal.  Mrs. Soekie Olivier coached the learners doing dramatised poetry and and Mrs. Alida Westraadt was responsible for the "spreekkoor".
