Two of our Grade 5 learners, Kholofelo Makwela and Prevail Sithole, took part in the Afrikaans Arts Competition for Primary School learners who take Afrikaans as an additional language.  Both of them achieved Gold for reciting their poems excellently.  A further achievement was that Kholofelo was placed first overall, recieving a golden medal for that, and that Prevail was placed third overall.  They were coached by our HOD Foundation Phase, the talented Mrs. Soekie Olivier.
