During the soccer and netball matches arranged by our sport organiser this term, the lack of school sport uniforms suitable for matches came to attention. One of our parents took the matter further and the result was a lovely donation of a full kit for our senior soccer team. The new uniforms were received personally by the players during a special ceremony at I AM Global Ministries Church in Hatfield on 19 June. Their prophetic prayer was that each item would be a seed going out to wherever the boys will go.
Three new teachers joined Tshwane Christian School this term: Sannette Ferreira (Gr. 3), Trudi Daniels (Gr. 2) and Elias Muchinapaya (Social Sciences and Arts Gr 6 to 9). Marinkie Tsubella moved from Foundation Phase to the Gr. 5 and 6 English post.

During January, the two Grade 4 classes moved to the admin office area to make space for other grades. One of them is now occupying a beautiful stone thatched building that looks like new. The first few days of school at Tshwane were... busy, busy, busy! More than 30 pre-schoolers enrolled this year. A special word of welcome to you all! The teacher immediately let them start with games and stories and with learning the most essential sentences in English that they would need for everyday life. On the second day already these little ones all seemed to be feeling quite at home.
