Learner Wins Poster Competition

Kgomotso Mahlangu (Grade 9), one of Tshwane Christian School's talented learners, won a national poster design competition, which was organised by the Department of Social Welfare and sponsored by the UN.   The theme was "Planning your family is planning for a better future".  Two striking elements of Kgomotso's winning design are a tree and a bridge dividing the poster into two sections - a sad and bleak picture of poverty, drugs and a lack of education on the one side and a contrasting bright picture of a happy future on the other side.  Congratulations Kgomotso! Thank you to the Arts teacher, Mrs Lindy Nkuna for your encouragement.
