Henk Treurniet has just spent three weeks at Tshwane Christian School.  He is a student at the teacher training college of the HZ University of Applied Sciences, Uissingen, the Netherlands.  After observing teachers in all subjects in Grade 4 to 8 classes, he presented some lessons himself or acted as class assistant during lessons.  He also attended assemblies, sport and cultural activities, and assisted successfully with various administrative and computer tasks. Henk enjoyed the spontaneous acceptance by the children and said he noted the patience of teachers in spite of teaching challenges and minimalistic facilities.  That was indeed a mutually inspiring visit!
